About AKV Paws Secure Dog Walking Field
AKV Paws is an enclosed countryside field at Tanyffordd, Abermule, between Newtown and Welshpool. The small comforts are well thought out: three seating areas, a toy box, treats and ponchos for wet days, with paddling pools out from spring to autumn.
If your dog is a jumper, arrange a visit first, as higher fencing is still to be installed. There is a 10-minute changeover between sessions, so arrive no more than 10 minutes early and wait for the previous visitors to load their dogs before you unload. Bookings run daily from 8am to 7pm, starting at 6am in summer with a last booking at 9pm. Book through the website, WhatsApp or by phone, and cancel at least three hours ahead for a full refund.
