About Run Free Dog Fields - Castlecary

Run Free Dog Fields Castlecary (also known as Arches Field) is a secure dog exercise field conveniently located just off the M80 at the Castlecary arches, near Bonnybridge. Part of the Run Free network established in 2017, this field offers exclusive hire sessions for dogs to run off-lead in a safe, enclosed environment.

The Field

The Castlecary field is gently sloping and surrounded by trees, creating a peaceful setting for exercise and training. Like all Run Free locations, it features 6ft high fencing that's also dug into the ground to prevent even the most determined escape artists from getting out.

Ideal For

The field is particularly suited to nervous or reactive dogs who can't safely socialise with others, dogs with poor recall who need enclosed off-lead practice, puppies and rescue dogs still building confidence, or simply energetic dogs who need space to run. Each booking gives you exclusive use of the entire field.

Getting There

From Stirling, leave the M80 at J6A, turn right onto the B816, then quickly left onto Walton Road. Pass under the arches and the field is 400m on the right. From Glasgow, leave the M80 at J6, follow the B816 through Wardpark and Castlecary, cross the M80 and take the first right onto Walton Road.
