About Run Free Dog Fields - Stirling

Run Free Dog Fields Stirling is a secure dog exercise facility located just outside St Ninians, only a few minutes from junction 9 of the M9 and M80. Part of the established Run Free network, this location offers two separate fields available for exclusive hire - Cambusbarron Field and Gateside Field.

The Fields

The Cambusbarron field is relatively flat, while the Gateside field is gently sloping - giving you options depending on your dog's needs and preferences. Both fields feature 6ft high fencing dug into the ground to prevent even the most determined escape artists, giving you complete peace of mind while your dog exercises freely.

Facilities

Both fields are equipped with:

  • Secure car parking for 2 vehicles adjacent to each field entrance
  • Direct access from car to field
  • Shelter for weather protection
  • Picnic table
  • Water provided
  • Poo bags supplied

Ideal For

The enclosed fields are perfect for nervous or reactive dogs who struggle around other dogs, those with unreliable recall needing safe off-lead practice, puppies and rescue dogs building confidence, or simply energetic dogs who need space to burn off steam. Each booking gives you exclusive use of your chosen field.

Getting There

From the A872 in St Ninians, turn onto Barnsdale Road. Keep left past the shops, take the 3rd road on the right, go straight ahead at the staggered junction, follow the road as it turns left, pass over the M9 and Run Free is signposted on the left. From Cambusbarron, take Polmaise Road then turn left onto Gateside Road.
