About Bassaleg Dog Walking Fields Bassaleg Dog Walking Fields is on Penylan Road, a few minutes from junction 28 of the M4 on the western edge of Newport. There are two separate fields, Freedom Field and Zoomie Zone. Start times are staggered on the hour and half hour so customers don't meet, which makes it a good choice for reactive dogs. Zoomie Zone has parking inside the field and is the better option for less mobile owners. There is a dog wash area as well as drinking water at both fields. XL Bullies are welcome if you send the exemption certificate in advance, with one capable adult per XL Bully. Group sessions and dog parties can be arranged. Booking Book online. Bookings are non-refundable but can be rescheduled online up to 24 hours ahead. Professional walkers can bring more dogs than private customers.
