About Sammy's Field
Sammy's Field at Thorndale Trout Farm near Richmond, North Yorkshire, was created in memory of a beloved rescue collie named Sammy who struggled with fear of other dogs. The field provides a safe haven for dogs and owners who face similar challenges.
The Field
4 acres surrounded by 6ft fencing dug underground for maximum security. Perfect for escape artists, puppies, rescue dogs and those with poor recall.
Facilities
- Dog toys provided
- Purpose-built dog pool and ball pit
- Wooden cabin with hot drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolate - £1.50) and cold drinks/snacks (£1, honesty box)
Pricing
50-minute sessions allowing 10 minutes for changeover. First-time visitors have vaccinations checked via email and receive gate system video.
