Choosing the Right Dog Field in Somerset
Finding the perfect secure space for your dog in Somerset depends on your specific training needs. While all our listed locations offer enclosed environments, consider these factors before booking:
Fencing Height
Standard deer fencing (1.8m) is suitable for most breeds, but if you have a known jumper (like a Husky or Collie mix), look for fields in Somerset specifically advertising 6ft+ security or 'XL Bully compliant' certification.
Terrain Type
Somerset offers a mix of flat meadow style fields and woodland areas. Meadow fields are superior for recall training and ball games, while woodland areas provide excellent enrichment for scent work.
Solo vs. Group Use
Most private fields in Somerset allow exclusive booking, ensuring you are the only user during your slot—ideal for reactive dogs or bitches in season.
